Co-managers let you share team management responsibilities with other people — assistant coaches, parents, athletic directors, or staff — without giving them your account password. Each co-manager logs in with their own PlayerAid account.
What Co-Managers Can Do
Co-managers have access to:
- View and edit team rosters
- Create and manage events and schedules
- Create and manage team expenses
- View player profiles and contact information
- Manage Managed Player profiles you've set up
Co-managers cannot:
- Change your account settings or password
- Remove other co-managers
- Access your Stripe or financial account settings
- Delete the team
Inviting a Co-Manager
- Open the app and navigate to the team you want to share
- Tap Team Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll to Co-Managers and tap Invite Co-Manager
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
- Tap Send Invite
The invitee will receive an email with an invitation link. If they don't already have a PlayerAid account, they'll be prompted to create one first.
Accepting a Co-Manager Invitation
If someone invites you to be a co-manager:
- Open the invitation email and tap Accept Invitation
- Log in or sign up for PlayerAid
- The team will now appear in your app under the Teams section
Managing Co-Managers
To view or remove co-managers:
- Go to the team and tap Team Settings
- Scroll to Co-Managers
- Tap any co-manager's name to see their details
- Tap Remove to revoke their access
Removed co-managers immediately lose access to the team and its data.
Responsibility
As the account owner, you are responsible for all actions taken by your co-managers. Only invite people you trust with access to athlete and team data. For teams that include minors, ensure all co-managers understand their obligations regarding minor data privacy.
Common Questions
Can a co-manager be a co-manager on multiple teams? Yes. A person can be a co-manager on as many teams as they are invited to, across different accounts.
Can a co-manager invite other co-managers? No. Only the primary account owner can manage the co-manager list.
What happens to team data if I remove a co-manager? Nothing changes — team data is owned by the primary account. The co-manager simply loses access.
