Your PlayerAid QR player card is a digital card that links directly to your public profile. Anyone with a smartphone can scan it — no app required — to view your stats, highlights, and contact information instantly.
What Is a QR Player Card?
Think of it as your athletic business card. At a tryout, showcase, or recruitment event, you can show a coach your QR code and they can pull up your full profile in seconds. No paper, no typing, no forgetting.
Your QR card displays:
- Your name, profile photo, and primary sport
- A scannable QR code that opens your public profile in a browser
- Your key stats and position
Accessing Your QR Card
- Open the PlayerAid app
- Go to the Profile tab
- Tap the QR Card button (share icon) in the top-right corner
Your QR card appears full-screen, ready to be scanned.

Tap Save Image on the QR card screen to download it to your phone's camera roll for easy access anytime.
What Your Public Profile Shows
When someone scans your QR code, they see your public profile page — a clean, web-based view of the information you've chosen to make visible. This includes:
- Profile photo and basic info (name, location, sport, position)
- Performance metrics and stats you've entered
- Bio and achievements
- Social links you've connected
- A button to connect or message you through PlayerAid
Controlling What's Visible
Your public profile only shows information you've added to your profile. To control visibility:
- Go to Profile → Privacy Settings
- Toggle individual sections on or off for your public profile
- Your QR card always links to your current public profile, so changes take effect immediately
Tip: Before a big recruiting event, review your public profile by scanning your own QR code from another device. Make sure everything looks current and accurate.
Common Questions
Does the person scanning need a PlayerAid account? No. Your public profile opens in a web browser — no app or account required.
Can I have different QR cards for different sports? Currently, your QR card links to your single unified profile. If you play multiple sports, all sports appear on your public profile.
What if I want to remove my profile from public view? Go to Settings → Privacy → Public Profile and toggle it off. Your QR code will continue to generate, but scanning it will show a private page message.
